This program is by invitation only. They offer mentoring, after-school tutoring, college readiness and college corps.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries
ESL Classes, citizenship classes, cultural orientation classes, elder program for refugees 60 and older, health and wellness classes, job development.
Francis Center (Goldsmith)
Free summer tutoring program to students in the Hikes Point and Buechel Neighborhood, they also offer a Kid’s Café that gives after school homework assistance and provides children with a nutritious dinner.
JCPS Free Adult and Continuing ESL Education
Morning and evening ESL classes for basic learning levels and for those who are on a more advanced level and want to continue their education to college. They also offer GED classes.
15th District PTA PALS Resource Guide
This is the Promoting Academic and Learning Support (P.A.L.S.) Resource Guide created by the 15th District Parent Teacher Association that offers information about academic support programs and more.
Catholic Charities of Louisville
Mother-Infant Care Program, Mama Matters program, parenting classes and some limited adoption services. They also offer food banks and community meals.
15th District Parent Teacher Association Clothing Assistance Program
This is the 15th District Parent Teacher Association Clothing Assistance Program. Here families can get all their clothing needs (including prom dresses, clothing for interviews and graduation) completely free of charge. They meet the clothing needs for everyone from infants to men sizes.
Up Louisville
This organization offers opportunities and encouragement for Women and Children who are homeless. They offer shelter, showers and laundry, support and life skills, and even offer case management.
Jewish Family and Career Services
This organization offers a career academy; career workshops, re-certification and re-credentialing, and they have a Navigate Enterprise Center, which helps you have the resources to start your own company.
